Burnin Away

It’s only when I’m by myself That I feel lonely Late at night is when it’s the worst
The mascara tears running down my face It doesn’t mean a thing to you But the memories are killing me
They kill me softly Slowly, but surely The light that’s within my soul It slowly burns out as everyday without you goes by
Maybe someday I will get my heart mended by another But until that day I’m fading with every last beat of the heart

Mood: Frustrated
Listening to: Last Letters Home-Dropkick Murphy's

Well this is my first journal. Although I'm not sure what a journal is on here I know that a journal that you actually write in is something you express yourself with. So, I guess I will be treating it like that except typing instead of writing. I don't know what to write right at the moment but I will be writing soon. Peace!
